A Message From The Founder: Dr. Juan D. Villarreal
My name is Dr. Juan D. Villarreal, and welcome to our Dental Practice. I am a Rio Grande Valley native, raised and schooled right here in Harlingen. I received my dental degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
It has always been my purpose to bring affordable, high-quality dental care to the Rio Grande Valley. With this in mind, I started my Harlingen dental practice back in 1983.
We have expanded with Edinburg Family Dentistry and Brownsville Family Dentistry. Soon we will have Raymondville Family Dentistry too. All are founded on providing the highest quality, most up-to-date dental care, great service and affordable prices.
I think all of these points are very important and have helped us grow to become one of the largest and most successful dental practices in the USA … and it’s still growing today.
– Dr. Juan Villarreal
Latest Good News from HFD!
Dr. Art Cavazos, Harlingen CISD Superintendent, hosted a meeting on Tuesday, October 28, 2014, of community leaders to present an overview of the District’s ‘Heroes for Harlingen” program opportunities for community involvement.
The program consisted of three areas:
- The Ambassadors of Learning program in which community members will have the opportunity to work hand in hand with the Superintendent of Schools and other personnel to attain a deeper understanding of what education looks like in HCISD.
- The Caring for Kids program serves to reconnect with the human aspect of education by organizing pro bono services for the disadvantaged child and in kind donations to enhance the lives of the students and their families.
- The Classroom Connection segment focuses on professionals who can add value to the overall classroom experience because their application of knowledge is closely related to classroom instruction.
We, at Harlingen Family Dentistry, congratulate Dr. Art Cavazos for his thoughtful and insightful leadership. We look forward to continuing as a trusted partner.
